Vance Pilot Training: Class 68-E

 

Class 68E PatchThis is the official site for Vance AFB, OK Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 68-E. The site contains information on pilot training reunions, pictures and information on people in the class 68E at Vance AFB, OK . We created sections to share reunion events, reunion information, class trivia, aircraft and photo galleries. We need more information from former class members and we also need your help to locate the missing classmates.

Class 68E was assigned to the 3575th (Commander – Lt. Col A. J. Linn, Jr.) and 3576th Pilot Training Squadrons (Lt. Col. Peter B. Van Brussel, Jr.) for flight training in the T-37 & T-38 aircraft. We were assigned to the 3576 Student Squdron for academics and administration. The 3575th Wing Commander was Colonel William D. Conklin and the 3576th Student Squadron (Commander  was Major (Lt. Col. sel) Wayne K. Heise).

Class section leaders were Captain Willard A. Waldow and Captain Gordon W. Fox. Members of Class 68-E were award pilot wings at 1000 on February 9, 1968 at Vance AFB, OK.  Guest Speaker was Brig. General James W. Little.
