Married Maureen Walker in Bradford, Ontario, Canada in July 1971. In 1970, we met in Abilene, TX when she was on tour as a principal pair ice skater with the Shipsted & Johnson Ice Follies. In Jan 2021, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We have three children, Bradley (Julie), Michael (Natalie) and Sharilynn (Mike) and seven grandchildren.
Following USAF retirement, for six years I worked for a Civil Engineering firm doing road design and contract administration. For twelve years I worked for a mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineering firm doing electrical design and project management for 70+ Sunrise Senior Living facilities across the US and Canada.
June 2006, I fully retired in Haymarket, VA. Volunteer American Red Cross Disaster responder both locally and nationally. Docent at the Manassas National Battlefield Park.
